This website uses no personal tracking. We use a functional cookie for language detection (see section 7) and anonymized web analytics (see section 6.2). Beyond that, we only collect data that you actively submit to us via forms.

3.1 Inquiry Form (Product)

When submitting a product inquiry, we collect:

When using our product quiz, we collect:

3.3 Investor Form

For investor inquiries, we collect:

3.4 Application Form (Careers)

When applying through our career form, we collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• GitHub / LinkedIn / Portfolio (optional)
• Availability (hours per week)
• Resume (PDF)
• Cover letter (PDF, optional)
• Motivation text (optional)

Data is sent to us via email (see section 6.1). PDF files are not stored separately but are delivered exclusively as email attachments.

4. Purpose of Processing

5. Storage Duration

Your data will be stored until you request deletion. An informal email to hello@lokai.tech is sufficient.

6. Data Processors & Data Transfers

6.1 Resend Inc.

For email delivery, we use Resend (Resend Inc., San Francisco, USA). When submitting a form, your name and email address are transmitted to Resend to send confirmation and notification emails.

Data transfer to the USA is based on Art. 46(2) GDPR (Standard Contractual Clauses).

6.2 Vercel Inc.

This website is hosted on Vercel (Vercel Inc., San Francisco, USA). When accessing the site, your IP address is technically transmitted to Vercel.

Additionally, we use Vercel Web Analytics to collect anonymized usage statistics (e.g., page views, time on site, country of origin). No cookies are set and no personal data (such as IP addresses) is stored or shared with third parties. Analysis is performed exclusively on an aggregated level.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in improving our service).

Data transfer to the USA is based on Art. 46(2) GDPR (Standard Contractual Clauses).

7. Local Browser Storage

The following data is stored locally in your browser:

• Cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) – Stores your language preference so the website is displayed in the correct language. Strictly functional, no consent required (Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive).
• sessionStorage – Remembers whether the loading animation has already played (deleted when the tab is closed).
• localStorage – Stores the investor access token so you don't need to verify again.

This data is not transmitted to our servers or third parties.

You have the right at any time to:

• Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
